Google is doing as much bad as good in this world. I LOVE the fact Meizu/Flyme leaves me the option to choose between bieng spied on by Google or not. First of all, there's TOO MUCH bullshit in the playstore and the services can be provided by other more trustworthy companies. I'm not a Google fan.

Guys, please, stop being so lazy. We're talking about a few seconds of your life to install Google shit. Get over it!

I would love to see way more competition for Google in general. It's not that "we" have many options to choose from, is it? I don't want it. I'm practically forced to use it.
Competition is what would make Google (play) better.
Less data mining without users consent.
Better OS (Flyme) = less nonsense apps = better search results (leave option to PlayStore, F-DROID, etc...)
I could go on and on ... , but in the long run, the option to choose is always the best option.
Things can change so fast, you know.

Why so lazy?

I haven't met too many Russians who are fond of Google, and Russia is a major market for MEIZU. It's not easy to keep everybody happy. That's one of the reasons why the option to choose is always the best.

Not lazy. We have Android Pay and other HCE providers, that require Google Certification.
