I won't tell it is better, because it is different Flyme OS is only Android based. Even if core will be Android 7, that won't mean Flyme OS will have all Android 7 features. It is other OS, and all features you are missing please report to suggestions section.

What? That doesn't even make sense. Every Android version is better than its predecessor and Flyme OS 5 based on 5.1 is a better version of it. Nothing more. Having certain features of following Android OS versions doesn't make Flyme O 5 a better OS. It makes it a more capable. But just wait when the next version of Gmail won't support 5.1 and then you'll have to ditch your phone that you know for a fact it can run Android 6.0 and 7.0 and you also know for a fact that there's a Flyme OS 5 based on Android 6.0! Come on, it's not only because of the features. Under the hood improvements exist as well!

Flyme based because of apps , if flyme folowing android it not mean what phone on flyme cant work better when on android, but yea we need flyme 6 becouse some apps no longer supports android 5 in future.

Sad but true! International users are not considered by Meizu.
