Notifications Issue with Whatsapp & IM apps (probably wifi sleep issue)I am unable to receive any whatsapp and hangout messages instantly while the display is off. Messages are only received once i manually open the app.
Looks like its a issue with Wifi Sleep Policy and we need to keep WLAN (wifi) always on, else it keeps the wifi in sleep mode and disconnects it. I tried everything to always enabale wifi switched on but not able to locate it. Only place its possible is: Settings > Battery > Ranking > Hardware > WLAN > Adjust Power Use. Now on my phone M3 Note its set to "Turn off wlan when not using it or when it is unavailable".. But there is no option to change this setting. Anyone having a clue to change this option or how would message be delivered instantly | |

As such the wifi is not working so whatsapp messages are not coming. When you again awake the phone wifi starts working and the messages arrive. Any clues on how to Always keep wifi on. | |

Finally i have figured out how to always keep wifi on:
Go to: Security > Power > Customize Mode > Turn Off WLAN (Set it to Enabled) Then enable the customize mode. Wifi will never sleep and you will get all the notifications. ---------------------------------------------- For MEIZU INDIA > PROBABLY YOU SHOULD FIRE ALL YOUR EMPLOYEES IN CUSTOMER CARE TECHNICAL TEAM THEY ARE CLUELESS AND ALL THEY CAN DO IS ASK YOU TO FACTORY RESET YOUR PHONE. I AM TALKING OF ATLEST 5 EMPLOYEES WHO HAVE SIMPLY NO ANSWER. IF THEY DO NOT KNOW THE PRODUCT WHAT ARE THEY DOING THERE WASING TIME OF CUSTOMERS. The problem isn't only in WiFi, the same problem is on data connection too. This bug has been present since the ROM m3 note was shipped with.
