i think here more simply how to root m2 mini v.5.1.6.0G (i've tried and success ^^)
download this files and place in sdcard root folder and instal (but dont run/open)

go to Settings - Accesbility - Kingroot service switch ON
after that, restart your phone
then open kingroot app and start to root (need internet connection)
wait for it done 100%

king root does not work for everybody. Before the fix I posted here, first thing I tried was king root and other similar apps but, with no luck.
