The camera app is feature rich but the only drawback is that the brightness of the picture is very very low, compare the camera with any other phone, it is easily visible that the brightness is low. Everyone who uses a Meizu phone has this complain. Maybe this is a software problem, but whatever it is, it needs to be fixed as soon as possible.

Well most of the smartphone users are not photography experts. Uses the smartphone camera as point and shoot camera only. On a bright sunny day, with HDR mode on, we expect good quality picture. But this never happens with my Mx5. With slightest of shake, the picture comes out blurry, unusable. What is the benefit of having a 21mp camera, if we can not take snaps of precious moments, which comes and goes in within seconds.

The camera UI is simple and neat and clean. Look wise mixes with Flyme 5 very nicely. But the organization of options is not good. They are not readily available when required. For example, people uses camera mainly for two purposes - still and video. These two options should right there on the top. i.e. in the Camera UI we expect photo, video and gallery on the front. But sadly, we have to go through two extra steps to start video recording, when we need it badly.
Now the question may arise, where to put camera options than. Well do it in the Flyme way, swipe gesture to open camera options. Swipe option is already there to switch between front and rear camera. So, I believe it is not going to be difficult to implement. With this configuration, there will be one empty space, in the Camera options. Include HDR on/off option there. All camera options in one place and HDR in settings. This arrangement is confusing | |

hope all this issues gets fixed soon..... the one that really bugs me is the lack of continuous auto-focus in video !

Why don't you fix buggy contacts app. Hundreds of people having slow contacts loading problem. Tried factory reset and upgrade to Indian version, still contacts app size is over 100 Mb. When exported, it is merely 214 kb. Calling person name even does not come on phone, just number. What's use of camera, when ur phone can't even do basic function of calling

it takes time to focus when you try to captured an image using third party program like facebook messenger. sometimes auto focus does not work.
