Is there any release date for global final version based on Android 7 ?
Several android phone has 8 already and I'm still with 5.1. Why is it so slow ? Why is that Xiaomi phones are updated much more frequently ?

Saksafar: It seems no one is answering. No problem, next year I'm planning to buy a new phone but definitely not Meizu.
I'm sorry but it seems that I'm absolutely not alone with this problem. I have a good hardware phone with a very old android based firmware. Tim

用户493260872 replied at 2018-03-12 08:40 - Flyme 6 based on Marshmallow was announced in November 2016, promising the release by the end of December 2016 - never happened! They released betas instead. - Flyme 6 A was released for Chinese devices in January and promised to release G version shortly - "shortly" eventually meant 6 months later. That was July when G version of Flyme 6 based on Lollipop was released (you can find a number of posts, where it was promised, then delayed, then promised again and delayed again). - It is the middle of March 2018 and Global version still has not been released on Marshmallow basis and no updates were available since July 2017. - Oh, I have just received a Flyme update for A version 6.3.0.2 (Note that the previous update was 6.3.0.0 from January 2018). Now, the question is - Should the "pretty soon" refer to a shorter period that "shortly" (6 months) or longer? I suppose understanding the time measuring system in Meizu could be the key to customer satisfaction. This way Meizu could provide an estimated period of time and prepare their customers for a certain amount of patience. Just to give you an example: "Coming soon" in cinema industry is usually referred to a period of 3 months When women refer to their menstruation periods, "soon" can mean just a week or couple of days However, "soon" can be measured in minutes, when one is waiting for the water to boil in the kettle I really hope that these examples demonstrate the range of time frames for the same term "soon". I only ask to clarify what you are referring to when using this term P.S. I can't even believe that this topic could possibly be raised on any other forum of any other manufacturer...
