The MX7 and Pro 7 are two of the most awaited phones from Meizu for 2017. Ever since the launch of the Pro 6 Plus, there have been rumors that the next flagship from Meizu could sport a new design, a curved edge display waterproof body etc. Now there are indications that Meizu could be launching the MX7 very soon, probably within this month.
Today, Li Nan who is the VP of Meizu has hinted that the Meizu MX7 launch might not be very far away. While replying to a post today on weibo, Li Nan has shared this info that the upcoming "new phone" would come with an interesting new design. This would be pretty interesting as all the Meizu phones previously came with a familiar design language which was common across all Meizu phones with just some minor differences.



Interestingly, the Meizu MX7 had also been listed on the chinese website JD as an upcoming phone with not much being revealed about the specs details of the phone. It may be noted that JD has been a strategic partner of Meizu, with Meizu phones being sold officially on the website. The two companies have also partnered to launch the world's first tablet running on Meizu's FlymeOS which is the JD tab.
