Ok, I am about to write a post addressed to Flyme stuf. I hope they not only create forum themes, but read them too. I am for an about a week with Flyme 6, and here is my opinion of it:

System UI, transitions, scrooling and sliding are NOT smoother than in Flyme 5. No change in this. In many cases there appears stuttering when sliding or scrooling, even in settings menu! Yes, it is kinda micro stuttering, very small lagging, but even this is not acceptable for a device with hardware power like MX4. Even more, when that device is with latest firmware updated. Transitions, slidings and scorrolings must be at higher FPS. Must be smoother, much smoother than now. Two or three system animations added to system launcher does not make the phone smoother! Flyme urgently needs a rework for a smoother behaving. I personaly believe that this  is perhaps relative to CPU governors, which must be reworked for system interface running smoother, but that Flyme programers will tell. I believe, that system smoothness is the first thing, that user feels and see in a smartphone device. System smoothness makes user feels pleasure whe using a phone. So Flyme 6 urgently needs more smoothness! At least smoothness, what Huawei P8 Lite has ;)

Second important thing - battery life is shorter than in Flyme 5. This fact must have an attention. I had cases, in which my MX4 have spended 18% battery for a 15 minutes screen on, with brightness at 35%. This is not acceptable. Huge rework must be done with the battery job. No meather what is going on and what for Flyme programers are programing, this MX4 with over 3000mah battery must make over 4 hours screen on working!

Third thing - restriction of the camera flash when harging must be cuted. I was so dissapointed, when realised that I cant use a flash when taking photos during phone charging. Why is that? Even when my phone is cold as ice, I cant use a flash on camera during charging? Must pay attention ot that bug. Because it looks like 100% bug, not a prevention from overheating as it says.

Third - pay attention to contacts. SIM and phone contacts are messed up. It shows phine contacts no mather what, even if I want only SIM contacts to be shown. All that contacts job must be optimised, because other bugs presist there too. Should pay attention on that.

Fourth - it is cool that Flyme 6 has several battery modes. But I believe that one important mode is still missing - high performance mode. I will offer a flyme programers to add that kind of mode. Which function has to to put all the phone hardware releasing its power at 100% constantly when user wants that.


Fifth - root option must be added in the develipers menu. And that is for 2 reasons - first is that rooting by itself  is 100% developer relative option. And I think it does not have a plase in account options. What root has to do with the flyme account? That is a developer option. And the second reason is - every user must have an acces to root option, not only those with flyme account registered. Some may want not to have a flyme registration but to have a root acces, how he can do that?  So again - root acces option must be in develiper menu. This will be a huge step ahead for all Flyme users.


The good job until now, that I see in Flyne 6 beta, is that it is kinda faster than Flyme 5. Some apps opens faster, probably multitasking is also faster. Perhaps that is relative to One Mind engine.  And one last thing - no mather what, Meizu are great mahines. A machines you can fall in love with They deserve a well optimized software, so and we - the users who payed already for our devices and theirs future software updates.
