I've used ResurrectionRemix and LineageOS with my M2 Note, and it is way faster than Flyme. But stability wise, i would choose Flyme, i wish meizu would upgrade Flyme to Nougat already because if ROM developers can do it why not the Flyme team which is more larger

pointless to dream about custom roms in the meizu world... that's my biggest complaint with my pro 6.

Yes they can!
Not only can Lineage transform the Note 2, it can save it. And its quite a lot of fun researching how to get the phone flash ready, getting it to work and enjoying the experience of using the latest version of android 7.1.1. And it was only a few months ago the experts were saying you couldn't run Nougat on the Note 2.  | |

I was using CyanogenMod before on my Samsung because i didn't like the messy TouchWiz. Another reason was because my phone was out of warranty already so I started experimenting on it.
