The next thing I want to say is THIS DOES WORK, yes, this app is old but does everyone know about it? I guess not, instead of talking trash you should help people instead  The last thing I want to say is that I've used this method and it worked to me, if you are nonroot you can ONLY USE THE DEFAULT PINS, but as I already mentioned, you need ROOT so that it will try a bigger range of pins.
