The general feel of the new rom (Flyme 5.1.5.0G) is smooth and very functional concidering its the first stable release, however since notifications for whatsapp,viber etc didnt work and also I had a problem with my contacts not showing sometimes I decided to go back to Flyme 4.5.4.2I which has no major bugs and the battery seems to last longer.
Anticipating at the moment for Meizu to correct all major bugs (notifiation and contacts) in their next release so that I can update to a more bug free version of flyme 5. As for those complaining and saying how hopeless Meizu is with updates etc please note that I have been the owner of various "chinese" mobile phones ( ulefone,coolpad,elephone etc ) and Meizu is by far the best quality chinese mobile and flyme a great OS, when you buy a mobile phone no company is obligated to update their roms or guarantee that your device will receive the latest update so be thankfull that Meizu offers or at east tries to support most of their previous devices with newer firmware. Kudos to Meizu. | |
