So I have managed to figure out a way to get it working through sheer dumb luck.
I went to try and reset the phone to factory settings using the power up volume buttons. Upon booting the phone up again it gives you the option to apply the update.zip in rooter folder. So there you have it, that's the alternative way! Phone is the Meizu M2 Note (Chinese Model) by the way. | |
