Cannot vote so I'll post instead, +1 for this request. It's honestly surprising that Meizu does not provide a way to unlock the bootloader when most oems officially already been doing so for a long time (heck Sony way of doing it is exactly like the screenshot above) and it's not even an option but essential for power users. Hopefully that screenshot above is real but since it's exactly the same as Sony I wouldn't get my hopes up (see the screenshot below from a Z5 user).

You're welcome :< though I forgot to mention another thing, someone over xda uploaded a beta firmware few days ago that supposedly let international Pro 5 users unlock the bootloader, I'd take it with a grain of salt too though as there's only a single screenshot showing an unlocked bootloader, very few tried and on top of that fastboot getvar ain't returning anything.

Oh I see, so that was you these comments really made me doubt the op and were really informative, but if someone trustworthy here tried and it indeed work then that's good news. At least we have something to fall back on if Meizu decide not to give us the option to do so
As for the getvar the op wasn't getting anything from it and usually isn't good news, at least every devices I had never exhibited that behavior, but for all I know this might be normal with that device.
