My problems with M3s, any suggestions?Hello,
I have a M3S (bought from Aliexpress) with FLYME 5.1.11.0. I'm using it 3 weeks and i have some issues that i can't resolve. Please give ideas. - First of all, the missing back button is normal as i see. Is there a way to make the "HOME" button work as "BACK" button ? - constant SPAM through the so called "TOOLS" system app, which is non-removable. Is there a way to block it so i dont receive spam all the time? Is it possible that i have somekind of spyware or else? - the fingerprint option is not working by me, is there a way to fix it? - i'm constantly doing screenshots by accident. Is there a way to change the screenshot combination? (power off + volume down) | |

What version of Meizu M3s do you have? Is the Chinese version Q or is the international version H? If it is the Q version you will have to use Flyme.cn Firmware A if it is the H version you can use the Global G version flymeos.com. If you can provide a screenshot of the system version and your model could be more helpful. | |

The problem with the spam was most likely Malware. Think i fixed it. The other issues still here. | |

Backup your personal data and reinstall the firmware.
Download the Oficial firmware here http://dl-res.flymeos.com/Firmwa ... bb87db59/update.zip Copy the file to the root directory. Open Explorer an select the update.zip. Tap the 2 options clear data... I hope that now works well. The touch button makes the option to go back it is not possible to change it nor the screen capture buttons. | |

in m3s finger print is also used as button so hold it to come to home use official firmware to bug fixes

So the stupid "power+volume down" for screenshot can't be turned off ?! Shame on MEIZU.
There's another HUGE problem lately. Very frequently i get "camera is occupied" message when i want to use the camera. And i cant use the camera before i restart the phone... thats really annoying and is happening all the time... Any ideas? | |
