Smartest thing to do is provide two versions: one with Marshmallow and one with Nougat. Now, I know that Marshmallow is not THE upgrade compared to Lollipop but still, a phone's software life get's a pretty decent extension. If the do provide two Flyme 6 versions but with Lollipop to be the one, yes, I'll be happy but also I'll know that my phone will become obsolete much faster.
