The firmware will be deleted everytime you do a clear update (wipe data), but it stays there if you only do dirty flash and OTA updating. So kindly think about if you can accept it in your daily use. Who are Beta team members These fans love to give a try to new things, flash ROMs of mobile phones, enjoy helping new users to address various issues that might appear during flashing, provide feedbacks and report bugs to MEIZU engineers. How to join Beta team There are 2 ways: 1. Open recruitment 2. We’ll add some people according your performance on forum(Tech contents,suggestions are plus for us!) Benefits of the Flyme Beta Team 1. Access to latest Flyme beta version 2. Honorary title of Beta Captain/Beta Team 3. Medal of Beta Captain/Beta Team 4. 150 read permissions in the FlymeOS Forum 5. Receive rewards and gifts occasionally. 6. The chance to be promoted as the beta team leader. Responsibilities of the Flyme Beta Team 1. Update the beta firmware weekly on Tuesday.Provide at least one bug and one suggestion each time. Discuss and confirm bugs reported on Whatsapp group which are reported by others. 2. Two or more posts are submitted every month on forum. PS: If a user quits the beta team for own reasons, the user is not considered in the next recruitment. Criteria to join Beta Team - You must have one of the MEIZU device.( PRO6 and M3s) - You should have posted at least a logical threads or helped users in their queries. - You should have at least basic knowledge of Flyme/Rom. A good move, but why without GMS? I think most of the users in this global forum will use GMS. Having GMS installed would be a possible bug source. So you can fix them during beta phase.
