Well, I didn't know you can bypass the first three Pokemons for a Pikachu until I saw this post online. http://www.polygon.com/2016/7/8/12131242/pokemon-go-how-to-get-pikachu-starter-guide. I don't know if it still works in the recent update. Also, I don't know if this is iOS or Android exclusive. Don't want to start from scratch again.
