I chose the Meizu Pro 5, since it has a pretty good perf/price ratio. It has a high-end chipset, 64/4GB ram, sd card support, a good DAC, a good camera (needs improvement in low light conditions though and DIS would be good too) and very good quality. I was a bit afraid of the size (i had a 4,7" mobile) but after nearly one month of use i can say anything smaller than 5,5" is a no go. I very like the mTouch too. I had known Meizu for their DAP's so i thought give their mobile and support a chance. I'm very satisfied at the moment, but time will tell. There are some things however this mobile (and other Meizu phones too) lack from my point of view: B20 LTE for Global version (it is commonly used in Europe and could bring more customer if supported), OIS and Qi charging (i would sacrifice the metal body for it).

A couple days ago, I had a fixed criteria to choose a smartphone. A hardware capable of running OruxMaps with big map data and touch ID.
Some smartphones fell in this criteria. Among them, Meizu has the philosophy of regarding rooting as not illegal. That means, the users who are capable to manage the android system can do it freely for the benefits coming from the tweaking their own hardware.Other smartphone companies insist on limiting such activities for the sake of the company itself by locking bootloader and taking the guarantee away from users in case of rooting. So I decided to buy Meizu product without thinking further. My pleasure was increased with the moderately low price and high hardware specifications. Moreover, Meizu is known to be a future proven company.

I bought a m2 note. because it offers great value for money. As other user says Meizu is pretty unknown in Europe and it took a while to make up my mind for it but I'm really happy with it :-)

I have the m2!
Why did i bought that? 1.It has unibody design and feels premium! 2.Unique Design Language at the price range! 3.13/5 MP Shooter! 4.Flyme OS! Yes! I used flyme on my other phones like Redmi 1s/2/2prime but the M2 gave me more attractive feel! Well the conclusion is : I choose because of the best quality phone at the best price tag! Keep it UP! Waiting for Flyme OS 5.0! <3 Love you Meizu!

I've chosen Meizu, because I was bored of all those big corporations like Samsung, Sony, Apple, HTC sell all the same stuff, all the time, without any changes and without listening to their customers. The worst was the fact, that they charged a lot for an average phone.
I started to look for something better, something unknown, but from company, that maybe isn't known in Poland, but in other markets, like China, India, is big and has good opinions. I also wanted to participate in expansion and improving devices, which is unable with those huge corporations. Than I found Xiaomi and Meizu. Xiaomi was getting bigger and bigger, that I was afraid, that they will become next big corporation, that do whatever they want. But their reputation was good, and they had unofficial Polish support. I found out, that Meizu doesn't have Polish support, but they are company with long experience and tradition, well known in China Mainland, starting expansion. And in meantime they announced Meizu Pro 5, which design was great and specs was even better. I decided to try this phone and company, I found out that phone is great, company listen to their users. And because of that I also created unofficial Polish Meizu community :)
