Xiaomi just held a launch event in China recently,there were Mi Max & MIUI 8 released, and about the innovations of MIUI8, it just lookslike a combination of Flyme, Smartisan, IOS, Hydrogen OS, EMUI, 360 OS, etc,. And as a Flyme Forum here, we would like totalk about features on MIUI8 which "followed" Flyme. Album There’re features added on MIUI8’salbum app, like quick share, add filters, quick editing, and those functionswere already exist in Flyme long before, and Flyme has smarter image assortment. Calculator MIUI 8 calculator supports change calculationsteps, scientific calculation and one key currency conversion, etc. There’re same functions in Flyme5 likeMaths, Switch, and units conversion. And the Flyme calculator app can be hovered on homepage which enable move the calculator to any place of the screen. 
SmartTouch Smarttouch on MIUI 8 is just like a third partyapp, and this feature was already existed in Flyme4 on 2014, one and half yearahead from Xiaomi; combine with mBack, it gives users an easier and friendly operationexperience; it’s disappointed that there’s nothing new on MIUI’s smartTouchfunction after so long time's development.
Chain startups limitation Feature “Disable linked launch” was alreadyon Flyme 5’s Security App on Sep 2015 which has same function, it enables you to control the applaunching permissions and save power.
Dual System This function enables different desktopsfor different accounts, and separate data and Apps; is it looked similar? Yeah,it’s “Guest mode” on Flyme, just it calls “Mode” than “System” on Flyme.

Yeah I agree... Many of the MIUI 8 features were already long existing in Flyme... Xiaomi just made a compilation of all the good features of other manufactures and introduced it in their MIUI 8 as new features...

Well it's going to support most of their previously released devices and apparently really soon despite the fact that it has been announced only few days ago.. see what I means? Anyway that x copied/followed x logic is stupid, chances are anything you could possibly come up with has been done before by someone else which is mostly the case with your examples:
1. Album, Calculator, Guest mode features been in various phone and roms before. 2. SmartTouch.. even heard of 'Assistive Touch' ? And that's only the one everyone know about  3. Linked launch setting has been known to be part of the notifications issue, so how is this any good? See? What about actually enjoying said features instead of making up false accusations, who cares if they're following the trend.. | |
