Hi,
Would someone please help. My Meizu M3 Max has "automatically" rebooted 3 times today - all while I have been in the middle of using it, and it takes around 30 minutes to start, which is massively inconvenient. I have downloaded the Flyme 6.3.0.0G Update.zip (as well as the Flyme 6.2.0.0G and Flyme 6.1.0.0G), from the Meizu website, using both my PC browser, and the phone, and when I try to run any of them - by selecting if from the File Manager or using the Volume Up/Power menu, then phone says that the firmware is corrupt. The phone has been rooted. HELP ME PLEASE. There is obviously an issue with the part of the software that validates and runs the firmware update software. Apart from the bloatware that continually interrupts what I'm doing with ads, and probably sends my user ids and passwords, and bank account details to some remote server, this handset has been great, but since it's started constantly restarting while it's unsuccessfully trying to upgrade itself, it is all but useless. If it is not possible to either actually perform the update, or at least stop the phone trying to do it itself, I guess I'll have to replace this handset with another one ... and if there's no way to avoid this issue, if certainly won't be a phone that runs a Flyme OS. Help, help, help! Cheers, CJ

Hi Everyone,
Does anyone else have any other suggestions (apart from buying a new phone)? My M3 Max still returns the Firmware corrupt message when trying to install it. The phone also retains it's rooted status, which could be part of the problem. I'm desperate for more suggestions please! Cheers!

Hi,
My M3 Max (still on 5.3.5.1.0G) always gets the "Firmware Corrupt" message. I've downloaded the 6.3.0.0G software dozens of times to make sure - on the phone, and on my PC, from http://www.flymeos.com/firmwarelist?modelId=41&type=1 and it's always 959.03MB (1,005,613,570 bytes) - I've even tried the other versions, with the same result. I've tried to install the update using the Power & Vol Up option, and from the File Explorer app (there's no "documents" app on my phone). I've tried the Factory Data Reset option through Settings/About Phone/Storage, and tried the Clear Data option from the Firmware Corrupt window. All with the same result. Can anyone help me fix this? Until I do, my phone keeps trying to do it itself about once a day - and fails anyway, but takes half an hour to reboot every time it does. This is incredibly frustrating!
