If you go to Settings -> Accessibility -> Show Navigation Bar you can change it.

My question is after Show Navigation Bar activated, can you swap back and opened app button.
Back button on the right, opened app button on the left

Visit this link https://www.xda-developers.com/customise-the-navigation-bar-android-oreo/ and follow the instructions.
If you are rooted, it's easier. Otherwise, you must give some permissions using ADB commands.
I just tested on my rooted M792H (Flyme 188.8.131.52G) and it's working, Back and Recents buttons can be mirrored.
