Root is the easiest in Flyme. i just did it in my m3note.

There is literally a button for turning root on in the settings under fingerprint and security. Just login to flyme account or create one.

The only danger is losing your imei no. which happens quite easily with m3note when upgrading n formatting.

The benifit?  Not much.  there is really no bloatware on flyme 6. u can del opera max if u want.. or the app store?

Or you can retrieve wifi passwords to which u are connected?
