Useless copy-paste from Apple. Consider this tech useful at the time Meizu will sell at least 50-60 million phones WORLDWIDE. While chinese developers possibly will imply this API into their apps, pretty much global developers will ignore this tech. Why? Because the only flagship device that could advertise this 3D Press is a two-year ago hardware-frankenstein called somehow PRO will be forgotten far earlier than to the end of this year (may be more enthusiastic India would help? European market is pretty much will ignore this device considering that almost every other chinese company made much more powerful flagship for the same or even better price and will sell it worldwide too), while more reliable M3 which is to be sold much more actively has nothing to propose. Another brilliant strategy move from Meizu! Almost sure that this *** tech made company to involve lots of software engeneers to get PRO 6 working and ready for presentation. Thus we have Flyme 5 STABLE release moved again. Or Meizu will giveaway 5.2.X.X basing on ANDROID 6 (SIC!!!!) instead of 5.1.X.X now?

To be true, I use almost all default apps from Flyme :P

Without third-party support this tech is dead on arrival.

Well, noone tells you to buy it :) For me it's fancy feature, that can improve my phone usage.

Oh, I wouldn't buy this monster for any price. This year PRO 6 must me called NOOB6 as its hardware is a true Frankenstein of some unreasonable parts and techs, comparing with Pros from last two years - this one is a huge step back from flagship devices. For a price of PRO 6 ZUK will propose 2X better hardware (won't say anything about ZUK OS - this could be same mess as Flyme) and all-glass body. After all I'm not Luddite at all but all this useless crap with pressure sensors is just another way to pay more for quite often breaking screen glass. Every user will remind price of progress when his|her device breaks. So fancy feature must be at least useful to pay for it and 3,5 system apps is not the reason to add this tech. Again, this is just an untimely weird marketing step from Meizu. It was called revolutionary almost 8 months ago by Apple and Huawei.

Uh Thinking about it.

You brought up the question:
Seems that any Meizu user in Europe understands these easiest things. I don't understand completely that strange excitement of indian and chinese users along with moders and admins (well they are doing pitiful, but at least understandable efforts trying to force this excitement among forum users. This psychological method works only on really narrow-minded people, hope most of users are not of this kind) of this weird flagman Meizu aborted this year. Sad but true. I've checked all the flagships made by other companies in China and abroad - ALL OF THEM, even some really small and niche companies, MADE MUCH BETTER devices than  Meizu. Definitely, Meizu marketing department must have gotten some brain damage since last year they decided to change 2015 fastest flagship phone on Earth for some freaky 2016 middle-class niche device accidentally called flagship with some ahead-of-time (MAXIMUM LOL) 3D Press tech. I really hate the very idea of Meizu beginning to spread paychecks soon for some tech-journalists and youtubers to move PRO6 as a really exceptional thing.

I am telling again, if someone want this feature in phone that cost 2-3x less than others, he can bu ...
Maximum LOL on "We don't know if Meizu contacted with some other companies like Facebook, Google, etc... to implement 3D Press SDK to their apps". Do you really think that Google would cannibalize its own Force touch tech in new Android N just to make comfy some little chinese company? Ok, as for Facebook - uh-oh... It's banned in China (except Shanghai free-trade zone (17 miles across). So, do you really think that both companies REALLY would be interested in this niche tech? May be it's time to refuse of taking meizu-positive pills and start think your own head? I swear it's not too hard.
