Keep ignoring the fact that it has a shity gpu all you want Anyway there's already a few comparison up on youtube and from what I've seen it's at best as fast as the Pro 5, and in many case just a split second slower so if priced right it's the perfect phone for someone that doesn't need more than facebook and stuff like that. On the other hand as mentioned above the gpu is trash for a 2016 phone, so if you're a gamer go with the Pro 5 else save your money it isn't worth the split second faster it is and go with the Pro 6. So in the end I think Meizu nailed it, just that it shouldn't be named Pro 6 since it isn't a worthy successor to the pro 5.

ultrametric replied at 2016-04-20 12:17 It's just as I said in my previous post the price, if the user doesn't particularly care about gpu performance then everything else is just split second slower for a much lower price. Also another thing we're not taking into account but some people might prefer the smaller form factor of the Pro 6.

As I said the Pro 6 is only split second slower than the Pro 5 which means it still is way faster than the Mi5 in anything that does not require the gpu to flex it muscle (which goes back to what I said 2 post back? rofl). Also if the notifications and sms issues have been fixed in Flyme 5.2 (if it still isn't despite being based on marshmallow then shame on Meizu) imo the Pro 6 is way better value for money for the type of users I described.

Every single videos up on youtube I've found comparing these two phones show that it's considerably slower than the Pro 5, now I have no idea if those were the cheap version or the proper premium one which might be the issue here, or actually I kinda suspect qualcomm to be the culprit by having rushed their kernel for the Mi5 & S7 as they were the first phones to come out with it, both have the issue while the G5/HTC 10 have no such issue.
I never said the Mi5 sucked either, both devices are indeed great but not perfect and no phone is so I honestly cannot blame them for that, but every single comparison I've seen show the Pro 5 being much faster at everything but I'm pretty sure the blame it to be put on qualcomm for this as said above. Now only time will tell which device to go for, but personally I'm waiting for the Note 6 and have no plan on getting any of these anyway.. so this is mostly directed toward meizu fans who're just wondering which to get between the Pro 5 & 6
