[New Product] Meizu EP51 first look...Hey everyone,
Today we take a quick look at the latest accessory from Meizu, the Meizu EP51. The EP51 is the first bluetooth sports headset from Meizu and was launched alongside the latest Meizu M3 Note. 
Like all other Meizu products, the Meizu EP51 too comes in a wonderful packaging along with the product picture upfront. As you can see on the front of the box, Meizu mentions it to be a sports headset along with a bluetooth conpatibility. 
The EP51 comes with upto 4 different sizes of silicone earmuffs so that it can easily fit any person who is wearing it. Striking a perfect balance between high quality and a lightweight design, the EP51 poses no burden on the ears. The EP51 is a sports headset made of lightweight material that weighs just 7g. 
The Meizu EP51 also comes with a compact and portable storage bag which makes the headset easy to carry and store. 
For charging, the Meizu EP51 uses a micro USB interface which takes up approximately 2 hours to fully charge. The sound unit in the EP21 uses a low power tecnology which ensures upto 6 hours of talktime or music playback time. The headset offers 40-45 hours of standby time with Bluetooth connected and a very long standby time of 400 hours when the Bluetooth is disconnected so that you do not have to worry about charging the headset over and over again. 
The Meizu EP51 uses an imported British CSR Bluetooth chip which ensures a smooth and stable signal along with perfect call clarity. The headset uses Bluetooth 4.0 with a transmission distance of upto 10 metres and can be a perfect companion to your phone. 
The headset uses red and black color along with primary decorative metal pieces. These decorative pieces are made of lightweight aluminium material using CNC technology to ensure a precise and flawless design which provides strength while also ensuring better resistance against wind. 
These sports headset comes with mini hi-fi speakers which ensures a true and accurate music detail while providing better sound quality and call clarity so that you can have a perfect communication with anyone you want while you are on the move. 
The EP51 uses a high quality OFC wire core which has a high conduction characteristics along with a soft TPE outer jacket which is skin friendly and comfortable. These wires have high tensile strength an use Kevlar like material which is resistant to bending and at the same time is also tangle-free (Does anyone remember my thread asking Meizu for an innovation in headsets and to make tangle-free earphones? Well, Meizu has taken it to the next level with these earphones). 
It is worth noting that the Meizu EP51 supports APT-X digital audio compression algorithm which ensures a lossless music playback. (For those who do not know about this technology, Apt-X is a digital coding technique developed by Audio Processing Technology which can enhance the sound quality of the Bluetooth headsets thereby providing a CD-like audio quality). 
The Meizu EP51 is certified IPX4 device which uses nano coating to make it waterproof and sweat-proof. It is immune to splash from all the directions which means you can use the headset even in rains without any worry.
