They should have atleast left it near stock Android. Why try to customize ROMs so much that they can't release updates. Very poor strategy. Their hardware is very good, but software is hopeless. The forums are just for fans/customers to keep complaining with hardly any official responses.

They failed and i guess, they know it very well. The hope that it seems, some ROMs are created somehow for M3s, so, it could be a good way.
Some days ago i checked XIAOMI forum and ROMs, and even the same category (~150$) they have the latest GLOBAL stable and beta ROMs for MIUI9, and so on. So, maybe Meizu will copy them. Let's hope there will something happen until the end of this year. If not, i will also leave Meizu forever because of the 'support and service' they provide.

Totally agree. They haven't updated older devices to even Marshmallow. I used to recommend Meizu to friends, not anymore. After months of waiting they release a buggy 6.1.0.0G and there are no patches/updates whatsoever after that. There have been so many threads about basic stuff like Facebook crashing, but no update.

Meizu becomes a joke. They develop beta o.s. for other brands, leaving their products with bugs and without updating.
