Although its been just about a month since Meizu announced its flagship Meizu Pro 5 smartphone, the company is already preparing for another smartphone launch. Meizu has started sending out invites for its October 21 event to the Chinese media, where it will most likely reveal a new model in the Blue Charm family, possibly the Meizu M3 Note. It might be another variant of the M2 Note, since the phone reportedly runs on YunOS 3.1.6, but lets wait for an official confirmation from the company.

We had already seen the model on TENAA yesterday with the model number Meizu M57A revealing some of the key specifications as well as images of the device. Now, Meizu’s invitation reveals a lot more about the upcoming Meizu M3 Note. The invite comes with a metal back cover, confirming that the new Blue Charm model will feature a metal body. This will be the first time a Blue Charm device is featuring metal housing. The phone will reportedly come in different colors like, white, pink, gold, blue and silver.
As for the specs, the Meizu M3 Note is expected to feature an octa-core 2GHz chipset with 2GB RAM and 32GB of expandable storage. Up front, it will have the same 5.5-inch 1080p display as the M2 Note, but with 2.5D glass. There should be a 13MP camera at the back, and a 5MP shooter up front. Finally, the phone will run on YunOS 3.1.6.

Expect more information before the official release on October 21 and maybe a chance to attend the event if the forum creates any contests or so...
