read again it says uncertified devices may not get software updates. Uncertified devices are only a problem when you are using a custom ROM and not with Flyme. The Google services are real and the data is backed up securely. To answer your question google has a policy that every device made by a company has to complete the google compatibility test. All Flyme powered devices pass this but Meizu sells YunOS based phones in China where Google is banned so they don't pass the compatibility test. As a result no pre-loaded Google sewrvices on any Meizu device.
