It's a pity that m5 would be made from polycarbonate although PC have nice durability. Metal brings feeling of expensiveness and reliability.

It may be so, but I guess that m3s and U10 are close to ideal design Also it seems much easier and practical to put plastic cover over the metal body than metal cover over the polycarbonate body for the diversity.
