Need of charging is one thing, but sound quality is still superior with wired head/earphones.

Many people/manufacturer saying that wired headphones have better sound quality compare to wireless headphones but, the fact is it's not true for everyone. Wireless headphones because, of using compress data format between your device and headphone usually cannot deliver lossless audio quality but, many people also cannot hear the differences between lossless and normal musics so, it cannot be strong point for choosing wired headphone over wireless one. The main point for me to choose quality wired headphone over wireless one is the problem of limited battery life of wireless headphones. With wired headphones you shouldn't be worry about charging your headphone and they are always accessible to you. On the plus side for wired headphones now a days you can convert your wired headphone to wireless one easily using gadgets likes BTunes or many other low price gadgets. And usually quality wireless headphones are much more expensive than wired ones. The best option here is headphones that comes with both wired and wireless technologies but, you should not expect low price if they have good quality.

Rudraksh replied at 2016-10-08 20:31 You should not be surprise at all. First of all HD50 need a device with strong audio quality and usually good amplifier and audio chips at it to shows it's power but, EP51 has it's own amplifier at it which does not rely on sound chipset or other hardware of your device. Second, EP51 is in-ear headphone which you can hear it louder because, it's into your ear and can be better than on-ear headphones in terms of vacuuming your ear to hearing noises around you. But, if you use Meizu pro5 or HTC 10 or LG V20 and other quality devices in terms of audio hardware you will see the obvious differences between HD50 and EP51 and HD50 will be the winner for sure. Plus amount of volume in HD50 could be much higher than EP51 and with much less decrease in sound quality in high amount volumes. If you compare their specifications, HD50 has 32 ohms Impedance VS 16 ohms Impedance, 103 ± 3dB Sensitivity VS 88dB and 100mW Maximum power VS 10mW Maximum power of EP51 makes HD50 clear winner here in terms of both loudness and quality. The most important factor between two headphones to finding out which one can produce better sound is testing both with situations that each of them can shows their maximum power in terms of quality, amount of loudness and etc. | |

I prefer wired headphone, 1. I don't like to charge the earphone after some time of usage; 2. wired headphone normally has better sound quality; 3. there's radiation with Bluetooth, especially to put them near your head

Wired headphones are better as we can use them when we wish and as long as we want without need for charging.
