Urgent requirement of VoLTE support for Indian Meizu devices Edited by Devasish_Saikia at 2016-09-06 20:27
All Indian Meizu fan here know that Recently Indian telecom industry has got hit by Reliance Jio wave. They stunned us With their ultra low cost 4G data packs(costs as low as Rs.50/GB i.e. around 75cents/GB) and free voice calls and sms service for lifetime. After announcement of jio network support to be made open for all 4G supported handsets, Now we see long never ending queue in front of all Reliance Jio outlets everywhere. Infact I was today told by jio store people that they are in shortage of sim and application form and application process in my town will halt for next few days. But for availing these mouth watering benefits phone has to support VoLTE (because all voice calls which is going to be free for lifetime will be VoLTE based. Unfortunately, none off the Meizu devices launched in India has support for VoLTE. Keeping in mind of such a huge demand for VoLTE, whre every new 4g divice sold here is with one and only one condition that it must support VoLTE, it's prime time that Meizu starts rolling out VoLTE support to their 4g devices in India. Otherwise lack of VoLTE will surely have adverse affect on sells. Recently we have seen VoLTE support made available to pro5(Not launched in India) through an update so I think it should not be a tough ask for our Flyme developer team to do the same for other 4G supporting devices. This is a sincere request from all Indian Meizu Fan for availing VoLTE support to our devices in next update. Thanks.

How to edit my post, I made few grammatical errors.
1. Heading should be 'Urgent Requirement' instead of urgently

Actually, enabling the VoLTE bands is a software tweak. I wonder whats taking Meizu so long to enable it in their phones.
