dialer/contacts app is very very slowThe app that allows to look for a contact and to make a phone call is not working well.
If you open the contacts list and click on one name and look at its number than you go back and look at another contact's phone number it takes several seconds to show the number, in the meantime the screen is just white and non responsive. It happens the same if you make a phone call once you have found a name. It was good with the old version of the OS. | |

If you have viber installed than disable contacts sync and clear the contacts cash thru the app settings

SOLVED.....
My note2 on flyme5 had same issue with contacts.... Finally went to settings /app/contacts storage and deleted the user data which was about 100mb(maybe call log records) and then opened dialer, imported the saved contacts file.... Solved. Now it's responding normal and data size is around 2mb | |

The solution proposed by User98160680 works, but is's only a workarround:
The user data file was reduced from more than 100 MB to 7 MB!, but it keeps growing and after arround a month, it reached again more than 100 MB, and the problems started again. Its clearly a bug which makes the phone useless, and should be ammended by a new sw release | |
