I received this email from Google I hope Meizu and Flyme will be able to solve this issue: "Hello, Although you do not have to take any steps, we would like to inform you that the following third-party apps will no longer be able to access some data in your Google Account, including Gmail content. This amendment will take effect as of March 31, 2019. MeizuMail We are making this change as part of your ongoing efforts to ensure the security and privacy of your data. These apps still do not meet our updated data privacy requirements, announced on October 8, 2018. You can view, manage, and remove any apps you've granted access by visiting your Google Account at any time. Regards, The Google Accounts Team"

I stumbled upon this post by accident as I was searching if the native mail app of Meizu is secure. The UI is kinda clean and I'm trying to see if it will work for me as I'd like to debloat and get rid of Gmail. The mail app now has Chinese characters as name and I've just granted google access for it. I wonder if I'm going to face the same issue soon.
