M6 note - First impressions with flyme 7It's the second day after the update and I totally love almost everything about F7.
Under the hood changes would be over all performance and, finally, Ram management as well as multitasking have been significantly improved. So far, even though is just a beta version, I haven't noticed anything laggy or out of the ordinary. I will keep updating this Post if anything else comes up. | |

RAM management and multitasking have been improved? I don't think so.
Every background app is reloaded every time. Nothing is kept in memory. Do you realize how unproductive that is? It's like opening an app for the first time every time. I have even filed a bug report about this. | |

+I installed the update and I think that mobile works better faster and smooth The face unlock works great The camera has now time delay for auto photos The launcher doesnt change on restart - I dont see the gif option in camera the live background change to black screen after restart The clean up useless files doesnt work The alarm still not working when phone is turned off Some apps open and close immediately and dont run Any solution ? | |

hellenicsun create on 2018-07-11 21:41 didn't get the OTA update and I did manually download but the update isn't installing. it acts as if it wants to but reboots to flyme 6. it's a bummer. | |

First impressions after update for me are: Seems to work faster all around ; opening apps, listing between apps or in app; flyme browser also maybe a bit faster. Camera is definitely faster in HDR mode, earlier it needed like 1-2 sec to save picture in HDR mode, now that time is at least cut in half so that good news... Face unlock works good for now, gonna have to test in low light... Of course its not perfect and its gonna need tweaks here and there, but it is good news to finally have something being done about this OS on meizu... One question though : this new zoom option in camera app; 1x to 2x ; does this camera have optical zoom or it's just cropping image ? Edit: Also I have one big upgrade to note: App managment seems to be improved, now when I close app with home button and when I relaunch it again it opens exatcly where I left it. This was not the case in earlier versions; for example in old versions when I had closed youtube app while reading lets say comments, and then when I relaunched it, it actually opened app all over again thus not even openning comments section which was frustrating but now it seems to just relaunch app from where it was closed...I dont know about you guys but for me this is great deal that is finally being fixed. | |
