Upgrade with twrpHey, guys, I have rooted my m6 note ( flyme 6.1.4.1G ) and installed twrp ( TWRP-M6N.apk ) recovery.
Which is the best way to upgrade when there is a new rom update?

wipe cache ,dalvic cache ,system and then install with twrp. if you are not willing to install a custom rom though there's no need installing twrp

installing the stock recovery.img into recovery partition thought twrp maybe? did you take a back up of stock recovery.img with twrp app before installing twrp?

No, i didn't take a stock recovery back up. Isn't there any way to flash stock recovery throught twrp?
And where can i find the stock recovery.img?

I think if you just install flyme you get back stock recovery also. if you unlocked bootloader also , i don't know if it has to get locked first

the issue is discussed here https://4pda.ru/forum/index.php?showtopic=886117&st=0#entry69723161 so in order to not have enter password to enter Android message remember to also wipe data

Finally, watching some videos on youtube i found the stock recovery.img. I flashed it through twrp (in recovery partition) and rebooted from twrp to stock recovery.
You are wright, twrp is useful only for flashing custom roms or as an easy way to take a complete system back up. At least for this phone. Thanks for help.

custom recovery is a useful tool. is nice to have it. but it's nicer if you can roll back to stock if you want
