As lots of us has our own opinion about things how could Flyme better and bigger and the more popular in users, i guess, this is time to discuss about the future of Flyme developments.
First of all Flyme should handle separately the user requirements for Chinese and Global users. I mean not only in the content of applications but in the user interface as well. The background is very simple: we are all different, we come from different culture, we grow up differently, we have different habbits, so, our phone should be different.
For these reasons behind i would recommend to Flyme to work with developers from the West (Europe, USA) on Global firmwares to improve the level of end user statisfaction.
There should be a basic version of Flyme in development phase and it goes on to developers of both versions. With this the Global version would be independent from the Chinese and wouldn't be only a translated version with some missing applications and with lots of bugs for user who does not live in China. This would also improve the bug reporting and fixing not to focus on only the translation issues but the major bugs.

In the afterwards I will talk about the international versions only.
From the other hand i would propose to make some changes in the design team as well who makes the technical specification for development. This is needed because there are some functions that were much prettier and better in Flyme 5 than in Flyme 6 Beta.
Here you are some examples to functions that were better on Flyme 5.
1. Arrange icons animation was pretty and smoothly without any corners around the icons. That was one of the point i chosed a Meizu phone. If i saw Flyme 6 earlier, i am sure not to buy Meizu.
2. Contacts handle: i am one of those Global users who use the google account to store contacts instead of SIM and local. This has only advantages, no question. In Flmye 6 i cannot see how many contacts i have in my groups and I also cannot deselect these groups one-by-one, I can only hide the contacts for the whole account. In Flyme 5 i could do all these easily.
I would feel myself in Heaven if there is a possibilite to assign a google (contact)group of an account as primary contacts for a SIM card. I have 2 SIM cards and 2 google accounts/groups in my M3s and want to handle the contacts separately for the time of first call by default. I do not want to select the primary number for each call, or do not want to receive a call for them to set it default automatically.

As this is already only a some examples for the things were much better in Flyme 5, i would like to ask you to share your opinions about those things which were better in Flyme 5. Please, reply on this thread if you agree my proposal above about the developments.

I hope, managers and developers of Flyme will read this and will focus on all the bug reports and suggestions we did so many times during the few years. Unfortunately, these days the do not do a great job, just try to work on the surface to be visible with some translation fixes.

Let's create a community for Global version and fight for our dreams and targets to have a wonderful Flmye version on our Meizu phone in sooner-later future.
