In this thread I will be guiding you step by step on how to upgrade your phone to latest Flyme 5 Chinese beta firmware.

Step 1: Preparation

Download the Beta firmware from the link:  http://download.meizu.com/Firmwa ... 6ad200e1/update.zip

Make sure you have at least 80% charge in your phone

Step 2: Backup

Now backup all your important data and apps. I personally prefer ES File Explorer to backup the apks and not the default backup application of Flyme because it is time consuming, you can do this also (your choice).

Now backup your contacts to Google Account.

Now go to Settings -> About phone -> Storage -> Backup data of phone -> Backup all your SMS, MMS, Call Logs, Calendar, System Settings, Apps(If you prefer this method) and Album (that is, pics) and start backing them up and press done once it is over.
