But when my device have bad connection, I open contact and there will be empty list. I have to wait about 3 minutes or more to have the contact list fully show up. This should be a problem with either the connection or might be a problem with the sync i haven't faced this issue i too sync contacts with google did you try clean wipe and install the rom again

well i have same phone and same firmware aswell, but its hard to tell since some other apps are doing that, so my guess is maybe we have bad connections
