Bad work of our helio x25It sound very big problems of our chip. A72 claster (2 cores 2.5ghz) doesnt work at all, they always sleep, even in hard games. Bad work of governor. Cpu monitor fix max frequency only 2ghz.... Not 2.5. Latest firmware 5.2.1.2g. Its very sad. We have piece of crap chip. Or shit optimization flyme!!!

I think it is because x25 and x20 are the same SoC, but x25 has just clock made higher value

If you look in Geekbench data base, you find there a lot of pro 6 with same poor result. What is your firmware version?

I have same problem, in geekbench i got 1400 single and 3400 multi. It shows me 1,5ghz on processor

helio 10 also

I confirm. When you start game or something, last 2.5 cores starts (Antutu shows it).It is interesting, that CPU-Z, and other apps shows Helio X20 with slower speed instead of real one.

I checked my one in high performance mode, it has 2 cores in 2.5 MHz frequency; did you activate the high performance mode in the security app?

I am sorry to have to contradict you, because my Pro 6 has such low performance and testing Antutu reaches over 100 k, while in GeekBench in multicore surpasses 6000 points.
Also the maximum clock speed on my 2.4 GHz, skimming over the 2, 5 GHz declared. I think it's a problem of your terminal, due to some hardware problem (factory default) or software. If you are in warranty, I strongly recommend you change phone.

So it is very sad and a shame that such a product to sell, my friends. And no answer from meizu till

inforser replied at 2016-09-23 14:58 Yes, it is misleading advertisement! The only purpose of the MTK Helio X20/ X25 / X30 is to fool the big majority (that's non-nerd customers). A lot of people will fall for this advertisement of "big numbers" with... it's stupid.

The Pro 6 has the Helio X25 that's right.
It's a SoC with a 10-core CPU and a poor old T880MP4 (4-core GPU) That's the same GPU as the Meizu Pro 5 has, but the Pro 5 has the 12-core GPU model. As a rule of thumb: for a phone SoC a CPU with 4-core is best, for a GPU the more cores the better. If you are into games you should have bought a cheaper phone with a SD 650 or SD 820 inside. It's stupid to waste money on a 10-core MTK with a poor GPU. This means for you: It's a hardware limitation, if you want to change it, throw away the phone and buy something cheaper with a SD 650 or SD 820 inside. (LeEco or Xiaomi offers such.)
