Remove Chinese apps from A firmwareHi,
my device firmware is 4.5.4.2A. I'd like to know if it is save to remove the Chinese apps or doing it can cause problems with future firmware upgrades.

kockahonza replied at 2016-11-12 14:25 Sure! He suggested me not to remove Chinese apps if they were system apps. Removing system apps can cause problems during upgrades. What I did (and still do) is simply to put all those Chinese apps that I don't want into a folder labeled as "Chinese apps" and leave them there. That's all. Having one more folder is not an annoyance and all unwanted apps are out of the way. PS: I really miss ultrametric and I'm sure that many other users in this forums miss him too. He has a deep knowledge of Meizu smartphones, is always ready to help other users and says things as they are (he is not a Meizu officer saying all the time how good and perfect and nice Meizu products are).

Thanks a lot for your valuable information. I'll freeze the unwanted apps or simply will put all of them into a folder in order to free screen room.
