Just because you do not really think about it you might want to shift ...

it'a a shame to let it die a good mobile because meizu will not upgrade a new android version.
Hardware incompatibilities.... next years my mobile goig to be a nice remember and a museum toy for my childrens. Next year maybe change manofacturer and mobile mark.

Seems there is hope for us on the M2 Note perhaps to get Android 6 at least.
the M3 Max runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow-based Flyme OS 5.2, and offers support for hybrid dual SIM and 4G VoLTE.

just one OS update will do.

Considering that the Mediatek chip in our phones wont support Android 7, the very least Meizu can do is bump up our Flyme to Android 6. If they dont, then I wont buy Meizu again. All good and well to update Flyme, but not to update the Android base that it is built on is stupid. Being stuck on Android 5.1 when everyone else is getting Android 6 irritates me no end.

..then shift. I don't mean to sound cynical but after almost a year as a Flyme OS user, I have lost hope. It seems that Meizu is mostly interested in upgrading Flyme OS but without upgrading it's based Android OS version which leads to future technical issues such as being unable to upgrade to a newer app version because it will not support anymore 5.1, or getting core security improvements and/ or bug fixes.
Of course, we are the customers. I'll just go and buy another device from another company and I'll be done. Piece of cake. But it's not in my way of life to change something that despite one damn issue, works fine.
