it is very bad because for Flyme 5 we had monthly updates and than it was announced in late 2016 that there will be the last update before Flyme 6. We had the latest Flyme 5 in time. And later something has been changed, we had to wait for the first stable global version for almost 6 months and than there was a kind of another update 6.3.0.0 one year ago.
From hardware side, M3S is not bad and could be used for so many years. I can accept that the company has another sales strategy to buy a new phone but because of the lack of updates on the older model, i will never buy a Meizu phone because after the first 1-2 updates there will be no more whatever phone i choose. BTW, 16th seems so nice but i won't buy it because of OS.

Time has come to change, i bougth a MI6 for primary phone and still keep M3S for a while hoping in global updates.
