Meizu PRO 7 Plus Camera fixHi all,
Can someone explain why the settings/features on the mobiles stock camera app have been dumbed down? It seems when I first received the phone whilst using flyme 6, the features were great. Now that we're using flyme 7, it seems the camera is mizzing so many features and my photos keep coming out in such poor quality. Please advise

|
You can find .apk files in update.zip which you can download from flymeos.com and find version you wish to use

That's exactly what I want to do, also. Might be able to extract the app from the img. file of the flyme 6 downgrade

Could we install the old one camera.apk? Where could we find it?

One of the things that are weird in camera app, after Flyme 7 update, is that Portrait mode locks the image ratio at 4:3 even if in Settings photo aspect ratio is set to 16:9. In Flyme 6, Portrait mode was following these settings and was not adding black bars on top and bottom of Portrait photos.
I don't know if it's a bug or a feature, but it's annoying that they regressed this particular setting after a system upgrade, when things are supposed to evolve.

The main difference for me is choosing the quality of shot. I spent an evening trying to take photos for our company newsletter and was sad to realise nearly all my photos were grainy and out of focus.
Won't be making that mistake again.
