Hi,
Reagarding updates only two devices having same SoC doesn't mean that they would have same Android Version it depends upon many other factors too! Thanks

fjolsvinnsmal create on 2018-09-13 14:14 drivers are easy to build. if they are not able to do it, how do they build a layer on Android like flyme? a good architecture give no driver needs

problem with cheap chinese smartphone.
it is cheap because they build with EOL parts who doesn't get receive update from vendor. SoC may be same but another part such as sensors part must be different and need different drivers to run. just deal with it.
