OTA doesn't work on rooted 6.3.0.0G /// Base band version on 6.2.0.0G Edited by misudoll at 2018-05-02 13:04
Yoooooooooooooooo, G'day everyone, Just updated from 6.2.0.0G to 6.3.0.0G. Notice that system update doesn't support rooted device anymore. Will OTA function be able to work again on Flyme 7@ rooted device? I know a few of you have already updated to Chinese version Flyme 7. Or, I have to reverse back to 6.2.0.0G just in case some system apps got 'updated'. ===================================== BTW, can someone give me the GSM Baseband on 6.2.0.0G, Coz I found the signal is a little bit worse than before. just wanna double check Thanks a lot for help.

Hey, OTA support for rooted devices was removed because of certification issues with Google. From now on no new global Flyme firmware will have native root support and if the device is rooted, it won't receive OTA.

6.3.0.0G is not available OTA, for everyone they have to manually update from the web.
