Buy pro 7 on CECT with modified version of Flyme, how to install correct versionI bought an Meizu Pro 7 (128gb, X30) at the CECT shop, but apparently it runs a modified version of Flyme...
So now I want to run the good version of Flyme of course (because some things just don't work on the version I currently have). I am terrible at these things and even worse, have always been an apple user, so this is my first Android phone and I am lost. Can someone tell me in simple language what to do?

Yes, I did the same, install the latest upgrade 6.3.0.0A from the Flyme website and it works (for almost everything) in good order. I used the App Store to install Google Play (using "Gugean" as the word to find it).
Only problems I still have is that I cannot put Chrome to default search engine... Other problem is that Google Play will download large games, but at the end of the download it gives the message "can't download this"...

I'm in the same boat. So far, the Chinese version beta-ROM's allowed me to use and upgrade to 6.3.0.0A and with some additonal tweaks, it's mostly working perfectly. There are some apps that automaticallt use the ROM-native language but other than that, it works fine. I'm afraid that a global ROM for this phone version (pro 7-H) won't be coming out anytime soon, as only the P25 64GB version has an official international release. But maybe we'll get lucky. The Pro 7 Plus is basically the X30 Pro 7, but with a bigger formfactor so it shouldn't be too much of an effort. Edit: If you want to go my route, go to the chinese language version of the FlymeOS website and download the proper ROM from there. Connect your phone to your computer, transfer the ROM to it and reboot your phone, I believe with volume up and power button pressed. You'll enter a recovery mode. One option says it will remove all your data (didn't happen with my phone) and the other option will just upgrade.
