no support of google apps

Btw ... it also piss me off every link i tap on emails etc opes in the crappy meizu browser... at lease on my Huawei i was given the choice

Meizu Meizu ... i bought at least 10 phones for me and my family... but you are falling apart very badly...

10 phones issued every year and all you could come out with is a phone with a back screen... Buahhahahaah ridiculous

Update to 6.2.5.1.A was a complete disaster:
1) day of the update couldn't log in because the G board didn't pop up ... fingerprint unlock disappeared, switched on and of many times couldn't unlock neither this option was offered by logging from my laptop had to take the phone to Meizu store to get it fixed... fortunately the technician before resetting everything tried one more time to reboot the phone and all at the sudden keyboard was there.
2) since then Gboard needs to be deselected  and selected  every time i reboot the phone which happens at least 3 times a day since last update. ( you guys copy everything why don't you copy G board layout and options and make it as default board... your default keyboard simply sucks)
3) location option slow...
4) A mess with google play services with many apps
5) lock screen keep changing by itself
6) this morning my theme disappeared in stead some weird teenage pink one was installed
7) reception in 4 g is very slow and very often no reception at all.
8) hahahahahhaa the picture galley what a joke ... the only i can check my pictures is by accessing from the files the gallery simply crashes...
9)  Apps such as Ryan air just will not work on this device.
10) the overall performance of the phone just became a shame....

updated right now  to 6.3.0.0.A... all the above issues unresolved.


Structurally i'm starting to hate these devices for many reasons...
1) i don't care about chinese festivities and the fact that they are sneaked in my calendar really freaks me out, as it gives me the creeps the fact that you guys change my lock screen remotely with dragons and wishes of fortune that sincerely you can keep for yourself.
2) it piss me off the fact that  all the meizu built in apps have all privacy  permissions on, an i can't use the device i bought as more it please me forcing me to spend time to dismiss notifications which i can't even read

i think i'm pretty much done... i'll use this pro5 until it dies and then i believe we are done....

Totally agree! They manage to screw up again and again. First they postponed the release of the update. Then they released Flyme 6 G based on Lollipop! The G version has not been updated since July now. A version come out, but full of bugs and do not have GApps in mind at all. They did not even get rid of the bugs, which were persistent since Flyme 5.

Now I have "Google Play Services updating" bug in several apps. Photos taken by any third-party app do not appear in the Gallery / Photos - it says No Photos instead. However, when I navigate to Albums it shows them. Chrome does not let me sign into my account to sync history and passwords - it keeps saying that the account already exists on the device.

I was very fond of the device and regular updates before, but since they released a whole bunch of newer devices in 2 years, it feels that they think they can simply get away with some crappy OS releases for older devices. The most annoying is that there are no good OS alternatives for this device, which could allow switching from Flyme OS. Therefore, I firmly decided that this will be my first and the last Meizu device.
...Unless something changes in the company's policy and concept before my Pro 5 dies completely or becomes unusable due to the Flyme releases.

The same crap as 6.2.5.1.A - in-app purchases broken. but 6.3.0.0.A brought new pain - uber is broken with "google play services updating" and  some apps in russia are notavailable now (namely Yandex Navigator). To mention, google pay is not working for years.

The ironic part is that i was happy to stay on 6.1.0.0.A as it was stable at least, but genius Meizu developers do not offer option to disable firmware autoupdate. Instead of that those Genius guys push update with broken firmware. Are you ok, Meizu?

Holy crap, it is really time to give up on Meizu. 2 broken updates in a row-  it is just unbelievable
