Flyme update Model M571 ProblemHi,
I've recently bought a M2 note which have the chinese version of the Flyme OS 4.5.4. I wonder how can i update to international version of Flyme without rooting the phone. I tried the steps from the flyme forum of the oficial upgrade, but it seems that the phone does not recognize the update.zip, it sees the .zip like an compressed file, not as system file or something, as it should be. Please help if you have any ideea. Thank you. | |

You can find the answer on xda but exactly rooted would be needed. Can you screenshot to me your serial numb. pls.

Thank you a lot for your answer. I have tried what you mentioned, but still nothing. It gives me two options, either to view or to extract.I also attached a picture of this.

Name the update file to update.zip after that the phone will be able to detect it properly. This is applicable for flashing all firmwares in the future. Also, global Flyme 6 firmwares for m2 note have too many bugs so it's better if you update to Chinese stable or Chinese public beta firmware.
