It was present on millions of devices before being discovered and it did no damage so you're safe. And the last firmware update for m5 note was in August, not in March. Hey, this is a newly found exploit and it affects a huge set of devices, as a result, patching it will be a difficult task. You can post a suggestion in the suggestions section to include a patch for this vulnerability in the next firmware update.
