[SURPRISE] Meizu PRO 6 launch date confirmed! Edited by Arunabh at 2016-04-08 13:52
Its been just 1 day since the m3 note launch and MEIZU has already announced the launch date of their latest flagship "PRO 6". The event will be held on 13 April, 2016 at Beijing - 798 751D PARK 79. This time Meizu has used the most simple invitation card in the history of Meizu - a hand written invitation on a simple piece of paper. Because they have enough confidence on PRO 6 to make this remarkable interpretation of the ultimate pursuit of their products, as well to users of genuine sincerity. Are you all excited ?
SignatureNot just a fan. Passionate about Meizu. |

Onohara replied at 2016-04-12 05:29 There's still possibility of 2 versions of Pro 6 - Exynos and MediaTek. In case if Pro 6 will get only Helio X25 then Meizu will have no chances to equally fight with Xiaomi Mi5 fitted with fastest in-market CPU.

it is pro6 for sure !

So, if the latest leaks are real it indeed is using the weaker MP4 version of the Mali T880 which is I'm sorry to say, a piece of crap. This better be priced mid-range because that's what it is, even the Pro 5 Mali-T760 MP8 is way better.
Once again if it's true then this is a downgrade to the Pro 5, as the gpu is more important considering how the cpu could already handle everything thrown at it. I seriously hope this is the MX6 if not then that's a big, big disappointment.
less than a month !

*facepalm*. New problem unleashed. Thats it. Now software releases will become even worse and longer now. Hurray!!! More bugs and ***ups incoming! A new era is just beginning. I consider we can not to wait 5.1.4.0 G now? A month or two, maybe?

Hope they did good homework in camera section except increasing Megapixels and Processor cores.

My guess is, after thinking about it for a while....
The Pro 5 was surely not a big success for the global market, dunno how it is in China. But having a look at the price, it's success isn't granted, the competition in China is big. So one way to see it is: -Meizu realised that not enough people buy the Pro - Exynos models, and so stopped making em. (At least for now.) And that means: This phone is meant to be a competitor of the following phones: - LeEco 2 - Zopo Speed 8 - Xiaomi Redmi Note 4? (Dunno what they will name it) Or even more simplified: Meizu is officially an "ultra-low" budget brand and stopped to make premium phones. (I truly hope that this is not true, and they will take away the pro from this thing!)
Whether is MEIZU forget the MX6 model?
